Vitamin D deficiency and diet plan

I am struggling with vitamin D deficiency for a couple of years now. With doctor's prescription, I have been taking an immense amount of vitamin D tablets for the last one month. Due to the intake of vitamin D supplement, I have gained a lot of weight. I’m thinking of following the long term weight loss plan ( http://www.harveybrooker.com/long-term-weight-loss-plan/ ) from a nearby clinic in Toronto. Can anyone suggest me on what other healthy food I can eat which includes more of vitamin D along with this diet plan? Has anyone been through this? Please share.
